Tekkers Resort Cup to begin with South Kaafu tournament

Tekkers Resort Cup is set to commence tomorrow with the first zone playing being South Kaafu, consisting of teams from resorts located in southern kaafu atoll.

Six resorts will be participating in this tournament, including last year's zone champion Crossroads Maldives. These are Hard Rock Hotel Maldives, Sun Siyam Olhuveli, SAii Lagoon Maldives, Ozen Life Maadhoo and Adaaran Prestige Vadoo.

Teams are divided into two groups, with Adaaran Prestige Vadoo, Hard Rock Hotel and SAii Lagoon Maldives in Group A, and Crossroads Maldives, Sun Siyam Olhuveli and Ozen Life Maadhoo in Group B.

A total of seven zones will be participating in Tekkers Resort Cup. The winner is set to win USD 5000, while the runner up team will win USD 2500.

Champions of all seven zones will then have a knockout round. Last year, Velaa Private Island Resort played against St Regis Vommuli in the finals and won the championship.
