A man who had gone net fishing in GDh. Fiyoari has died through drowning.
Police said that they received reports of the fatal drowning yesterday afternoon.
The deceased has been identified as Mohamed Hussain, 79, of Gahaakoalhi, Gdh. Fiyoari.
Police cited the island's health centre and said that the man had been deceased even when brought to the facility.
Police are investigating the incident.
