First Lady Sajidha Mohamed has arrived at GDh. Thinadhoo in order to garner support for candidates under PNC's ticket for the upcoming Local Council and Women's Development Committee Elections.
The First Lady was received warmly by a large number of people at the island's harbor upon arrival.
During her visit, she will be meeting with members of the People's National Congress (PNC). Discussions will also be held regarding development at Thinadhoo.

After her visit to Thinadhoo, the First Lady will be visiting Fuvahmulah as well, with a visit to Addu scheduled for tomorrow.
First Lady Sajidha has attended rallies in Male' in the past to garner support for PNC candidates. While the Local Council Election usually sees a low voter turnout, she has called for the public to go out and vote.

She has also previously requested PNC candidates be elected to the councils and Women's Development Committee to ensure the development being brought by the government.
