State Trading Organisation (STO) pharmacies will be closed on Friday, May 31 to undergo an upgrade to their software system, STO said in an announcement today.
STO said that although the pharmacies will be closed tomorrow, they would still process emergency prescriptions.
STO Medical Services is the leading supplier of pharmaceuticals, consumables, medical equipment and furniture in the Maldives.
STO is also the largest pharmacy chain in the country since 1983, with 190 operational pharmacies across the Maldives.
