Sinamale Bridge accident injures 5, 1 driver flees

Maldives Police Service, on Tuesday, revealed that a parked motorcycle on the Sinamale bridge caused an accident, resulting in the injury of five individuals, with one driver fleeing the scene.

According to Police, the accident initially occurred at approximately 1950 hrs after a oncoming vehicle collided with the parked motorcycle, further resulting in the crash of three other motorcycles.

Police noted that an investigation into the matter was underway.

However, authorities did not confirm whether an arrest was made.
