Home Affairs Ministry appoints Solah as Permanent Secretary

The Ministry of Home Affairs, on Thursday, appointed Abdul Rahman Solah Rasheed as the ministry's Permanent Secretary (PS).

The letter of appointment was handed over by President of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Dr Ali Shameem at a ceremony held at the home ministry.

Minister of Home Affairs Imran Abdulla was also attended the function.

Permanent Secretaries are the senior-most representatives of the Commission at Government Ministries.

CSC appoints Permanent Secretaries to ministries based on recommendations given by the respective ministers.
