Wizz Air, UAE's cheapest budget airline, to commence operations to Maldives

Wiz Air, UAE's cheapest budget airline, has announced that it will begin operations to Maldives in October.

Direct flights to Maldives from Abu Dhabi start at 319 Dirhams (MVR 1,333). Wizz Air is set to operate four weekly flights (Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays), starting from October 4.

Ticket sales have already begun for these flights and bookings can be made through Wizz Air's application and website.

When booking tickets if customers use "Wizz Flex" option they will be able to redeem the full refund to their Wizz account if the flight is cancelled latest by three hours prior to departure.

Abu Dhabi is a popular destination for Maldivians.
